Birds of Prey Display (demo)

FALCONRY is the sport of Kings (and our Queen Elizabeth I). Falcons and Hawks (and owls) are on display the entire day, every day. Stop by the ‘Raptor ARENA‘ to see them up close and personal. Ask our Eagle class Falconer questions, or observe these majestic birds at rest. Some of the raptors on display are from the wild, others are captive-bred. The dedication of falconers who founded programs like the Peregrine Fund in Boise, Idaho, and the University of Minnesota Raptor Center are the reason the Peregrine Falcon is no longer on endangered species list.

Please no animals, it may disrupt the show.

Christophe the Insultor (Roast whomever)

During medieval times you could hire an executioner to do your dirty work. At the Renaissance Festival you can hire Christophe to do your insulting for you. Bring your boss, your brother, mother, whom-ever, pay Christophe to insult them for you. Its so funny even the person being roasted will appreciate being roasted by a professional. Note once paid, there is no escaping Christophe's whit, only comical justice for the masses.

Falconry (Show and Demo)

FALCONRY is the sport of Kings (and our Queen Elizabeth I). See some of these majestic raptors of the sky fly freely above the audience. The free flying birds have the option to return to the falconer or to fly away. Learn which birds can fly silently. How can some birds stand the smell of skunk. Can an owl actually turn its head all the way around?
To learn more about falconry and birds of prey bring your list questions to our Eagle Class falconer (after the show).

Some of the birds in our show are rescued from various life threatening injuries, some are being nursed for release back into the wild, and some will never be able to survive in the wild. Thanks to programs like our falconry show and rehab program some endangered species of birds have increased in the wild, and some have even been removed from the endangered species list.
