ELECTRIC SERVICE

(First year of service requires a one time installation charge of  $150 plus)
$200 ($350 first year) - Full week camping in booth  OR using power tools during the week
$100 ($250 first year) - Weekend camping in booth
$60    ($210 first year) - Credit card machine and light during festival only
No electric service needed.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

We require a minimum of $1,000,000 of general liability insurance with the Louisiana Renaissance Festival listed as Additional Insured. This insurance can either be provided by your insurance company or you can be included on a rider with our insurance company.
$125 Insurance coverage provided by the festival
We have our own coverage and will provide the required proof of insurance.

FESTIVAL DATES: Six Consecutive weekends from November 1, 2008 to December 7, 2008 from 10am to 5pm. The festival is also open on Friday, November 23rd, which is the Friday after Thanksgiving. We will also be open 9am to 2pm  for three Student Days, which are scheduled for November 11, 12 and 13.

JURY CYCLE: All merchant applications are judged to determine which merchants will be the best addition to our festival. Selection starts April 1 and continues until September 1. Applications received prior to April 1st will be held until the selection process starts. Booth fees for accepted merchants must be paid in full prior to September 1 or your approval will be cancelled.

APPLICATION FEE: A deposit of $100 is required with the filing of this application. Upon acceptance of your application by the Louisiana Renaissance Festival, the deposit will be applied to your booth fees. If you are not accepted, we will return your $100 deposit.

INSURANCE FEE:: A minimum of $1 million dollars insurance is required for all merchants at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. You will be billed $125 for this coverage for the festival season. If you provide adequate proof of insurance prior to opening day from a company that is acceptable and able to do business in the state of Louisiana, this fee will be cancelled.

FESTIVAL TOKENS: The Louisiana Renaissance Festival has five dollar tokens available for purchase on credit cards at various locations throughout the festival. These tokens can be used to purchase goods and services throughout the festival by our patrons. A redemption fee of three percent (15 cents) per token will be charged by the festival when we redeem the tokens for you to help offset the charges we incur selling the tokens on credit cards.

"I have read the terms of this application and agree to be bound by them. I furthermore agree to comply with the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. I release and hold harmless all Louisiana Renaissance Festival volunteers, employees and staff from any liability for damages, theft, loss or personal injury sustained at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. I understand that photographs taken on site, as well as my slides/pictures my be used for publicity. I also understand that booth personnel must be in period clothing and conduct themselves professionally. The Louisiana Renaissance Festival reserves the right to remove anyone not conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, as determined the by the festival, its staff or security personnel. I furthermore understand that the Louisiana Renaissance Festival reserves the right to protect its interest. The Artist/Owner must be present at least two weekends during festival show days. A skilled and knowledgeable representative must be available at all times during the festivals hours of operations."
